Happy Halloween, Internet!
Because procrastination seems to be my number one trait, I managed to save 85% of my Halloween decorating until today. It’s not that I didn’t have the pumpkins, or the cheesecloth, or an idea of how I wanted to put them all together… I just hadn’t. Yet. Until this morning, when I gutted [...]

I’ve been sitting here for a good hour and a half trying to come up with a good post for today. What I’ve come up with has been pretty pathetic at best. Truly, all I can think of right now is covering up the paint splotches on my kitchen ceiling that have been there for [...]

I’ve got an intense headache, cramps, I’ve overdosed on Halloween chocolate and I’ve got puppy walking duty tonight because the Mr. is out working, and, have I mentioned that I’m intensely afraid of the dark? I hate how yesterday was so great and tonight is the exact opposite. [insert pity here]

I know. I’ve been meaning to drop in and tell you all about the awesomeness of my vacation and post several of the 265 pictures that I managed to take while gone AND tell you how I gained 5 pounds in 5 days. But I can’t. Why? Because I can’t stop thinking about how completely [...]

I’m back from our super deluxe we-can’t-really-afford-this vacation. How is it that something that is supposed to relax you ends up exhausting you? It could have been the 52 screaming 12-year old girls who accompanied us back to reality on the ferry from Nantucket, or maybe it’s because last night was the first time we [...]

This was going to be a quick iPhone-driven post about how ridiculously wonderful it is that the hotel where I’m staying will have room service deliver hot-buttered popcorn to your room as you watch a movie on your plasma tv from your bed with 400 thread-count sheets, but that was just before I had whined [...]

We’ve hired a baby sitter for the cats, we’re checking the pup into a doggie hotel, and we’re gettin the hell outta Dodge.
Mmm… vacation. It almost doesn’t feel real. Yet it IS! See you all next Wednesday where I’ll share with you such riveting details of my life such as how Sean let our dog’s [...]

“Whacha thinking?”
”Me? You don’t want to know.”
“Really, just be honest.”
“It’s embarassing.”

If I know anything about myself it’s that as much as I crave change in my life routine is truly the basis of my foundation.
When I first moved up to the Cape, I had two simple requirements for a successful and happy life. 1. Find a sane vet who wouldn’t move my cats’ heads around [...]

What’s the good of mobile texting if not to show your friends that you are, in fact, a goober? If you are my friend its likely that you’ll get some thing like this:
Ode to Ala Mode
Oh nutty oatmeal!
Oh molassas-y brown sugar!
Oh tender apples with sweet vanilla cream swimming in your nooks…
I love how you are [...]
