So there’s this *thing* we like to do. Actually, it’s really more of a thing that Sean likes to do and I just like to listen (or talk over this *thing* when other people are listening because I’m always going on and on about how great it is and oh! Sorry, are you trying to listen? Anyway… isn’t this great… wauh wauh wauh wauh wauh). That *thing* is Sean’s radio show (Wednesday mornings from 6am to 9am) (stop complaining, you all have to get up early for work anyway, unless you’re on the west coast and if you are, uh, sorry) and because it’s a public radio station (or community sponsored, I still haven’t gotten the difference down yet, although I’m sure one of you smart readers out there [probably my husband] will explain the difference to me in painful details) it has fundraisers Membership Drives! And next week is their special Spring fundraiser Membership Drive.
Guess who’s going to be as a special guest on next week’s show trying to coerce you to part with your hard earned cash? No, not John Cusack, but he would be GREAT. Instead, it’ll be moi! Me! On air! Once again! Only this time Sean has made me promise that I wouldn’t take over the show with any of my patented long and drawn out diatribes because apparently we have a goal and that goal is not to listen to me talk without coming up for air until I pass out (although if you pledge enough money we can arrange for that to be called a “premium”).
So please tune in (April 23rd) and listen and call and maybe give me your credit card number, or at least promise to send in a check or something. Because despite what all the news is telling you THE ECONOMY IS GREAT and it’s SO GREAT that you probably have EXTRA that you don’t know what to do with and I would be more than happy to give you a new place to put it. Because this station needs things like light bulbs new members, people. Light bulbs Members, dude. It’ll be fun, I promise.
Oh, and if you do go to the web site… yes, I know, you’re preaching to the choir… I’m in the process of having it redesigned just try to get passed the *looks* because it has a really great personality.

Umm, but can I call you “Lloyd?” Or, at least “Mr. Dobbler?”
You can call me Mr. Cusack if you want to. I’ll even play some Peter Gabriel for you.
Dang it! I missed it. I don’t imagine there’s a podcast available. Didn’t see anything on the website. But then again, I’ll ask someone the time when there’s a giant, digital clock, flashing the time in front of my face, at eye level.
